Stress-Free Serenity: Five Ways to Unwind at Home

As you may know, I’m currently on a mental reset journey. So far, I have realized how vital it is to set aside time to clear your mind of your daily responsibilities. I used to have a habit of going through my busy day without stopping to take a break.
I would prolong self-care because I would be tired from going all day. Since then, I discovered that self-care is needed to help reset your day. I want to give you some tips on some stress relievers that you can do at home and not break the bank while doing so:
- Taking a long relaxing bath. Creating a spa-like experience, such as lighting candles, doing a facial, and listening to soothing music, will make the perfect tranquil vibe. My personal favorite is a nice glass of Riesling, a sheet mask, and listening to Meditation radio on Pandora.
- Reading the Bible is a great way to tap into your spirituality. Finding verses for anxiety and fear is a go-to for me. A great verse is Matthew 6:34, “ Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own”.
- Creating a “me-time” space in your home. This could be a cozy nook, closet, or cubbyhole uniquely yours. This unique space can be used for prayer, reading, or collecting your thoughts. My…
